New 'Argo' Still
Along with all the giant comic book-y, sci-fi-y popcorn fare this year, one of the films I am most looking forward to is Ben Affleck's 'Argo.' I'll admit that when I first heard Affleck was getting into directing a few years ago, I laughed heartily. But so far, the guy has a perfect win streak with me. I really liked both 'Gone Baby Gone' and 'The Town,' and now he's sinking his teeth into a little-known facet of the Iranian hostage crisis of the late 70s, which sounds fascinating. This new image, recently released, showcases one of the film's greatest strengths: its formidable cast. Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, and Ben Affleck himself number among a cast that also includes Alan Arkin, Kyle Chandler, Michael Parks, and Tate Donovan. Not that they are all pictured here, but I'm sure you can note the few greats who are. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.
