Dr. Rufus posted a statusOver the last few days, several candidly-snapped set pics from 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' have leaked online. And yet there really is no substitute for the pictures shared directly by the filmmakers or actors via their social media. It's a relatively recent phenomena, but Bryan Singer, Vin Diesel, and 'ASM 2's own Marc Webb have all embraced sharing production information with fans. To wit, Webb recently tweeted this pic from the set. The image shows an upended car sandwiched on top of a taxi cab. The caption reads: "Day 20. Something happened to Matt Tolmach's cab." Tolmach is a producer on the film. The car stack is no doubt the result of an action sequence in the street. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think. Also, do you appreciate this trend of filmmakers tweeting images from their movie sets or do you think it spoils too many surprises beforehand?
'Amazing Spider-Man 2' is due in theaters May 2, 2014

Comment by Neg Primer on March 5, 2013 at 11:13am Twitter really needs to just go away. There's absolutely no point for it to exist. The only thing I see lately is using it as a way for people to troll their fans.
