Ok so the time has arrived i have finally seen the film adaptation of the Greatest Graphic Novel Of All Time what you ask? Well its pretty obvious.....


Watchmen the film based on Alan Moore's comic book. now why am i doing my thoughts and the thoughts of my 3 friends? I am doing this because we all have a different opinion. Each person who will see this movie will have a different view of it. So heres my reviews.



ME
I am a fan of the book. I just read it this year and i love it. Now i know what people will say "OOOOO YOU ONLY READ IT BECAUSE YOU SAW THE TRAILER WITH DARK KNIGHT!!!" well no i didn't. I wanted to read this book about two years ago and could never find a good copy of it in a hard bound addition and finally i found it this year now i feel dumb that i couldnt find for so long.
Now to the movie i found this very entertaining. I loved it as well its not 100% but damn its got a lot of the book. i didnt feel cheated that parts were taken out or let down but i cold tell what was gone. I really wish the full 3 hour and 25 minute movie was shown. My only problems were very minimal certain part were Dr. Manhattan blows up a few thugs in Molochs club had a gore peice that was a bit much to me. But the problems like that were fine to me its just didnt need to try to be over gorey. My major problems were with the audience i saw it with. this is an R rated film so you think I would have a mature audience in this right? Hell No!!!!! the people that saw this were adults and some teenagers now me and my friends are in high school and we were a lot more mature. This audience was giggling at a certain characters..........um well i think we know who i am talking about.



Captian Schlong..umm....... I mean Dr. Manhattan you know for the book it didnt bother me but if were gonna get a giggle from the audience every 2 second hes on screen give him some damn pants. (wow if that picture shows up i didnt realize braveheart is edited in.)


Now my othe problem was guess what was in the audience?


No not the Griffins a family get it family guy a family? ah screw it, a family with little kids was in this screening holy christ why do parents not read the ratings? This is not a family movie like Dark Knight.(ok that aint either) but this is bound to give childeren nightmares or something. spring a few bucks on a baby sitter next time for the kids folks.

now i will branch from my ideas to my friends and here they are. My friend wanted to see this really bad to he hasnt read the book but I have told him practically what i can and hes gonna read it soon. He thought it was great. He founds it very enjoyable and said you cant compare it to Dark Knight because there way to different. my second friend was basically the same never read it either. he thought it was cool but he didnt like the ending. If you dont know I aint telling you it. Hes a joking guy so he poked fun at the blue........ you know what I allready said so im not gonna bring it back up. Now my 3rd friend is a girl she didnt read it and shes the girlfriend of guy 1 so i dont know what he told her of the book. She didnt like the story But before you judge she did not hate the movie she thought it looked really good. Now here you go this review is proof everyone will think differently of it.
Now on my final note every one in the theater loved one particular character in the movie. Who Well I think Its Obvious....
