Wall-E:

7/10
It didn't match up to much of the other Pixar movies (imo). Wall-E was a beautiful movie and I thought the screenplay was pretty great, until the fat humans came in, and the movie became pretty dull and somewhat stupid. Was only in my Top 5 because I haven't seen much good movies in 2008

In Bruges:
Low

8/10
In Bruges is just slightly not as good as Milk. I liked the screenplay, the action sequences were cool, the comedy was great, and overall a good movie. And the best comedy I have seen in 2008.

Milk:
Low

8/10
Good movie, the cast did great, Danny Elfman contributed a great soundtrack. The movie was kind of boring though, but it beats most of the other movies I saw in 2008.

The Wrestler:
Low

8.25/10
This was a decent movie. Mickey Rourke did a great job and the rest of the cast did well to. Though it should have had more of Marissa Tomei's character and Evan Rachel Wood's character, because that's when most of the "magic" was in the movie.
4.
Frost/Nixon:
High

9/10
The beginning of the movie was kind of boring, yet still enjoyable, but at the 2nd half of the movie, I was glued on to the screen, the movie became "perfect" from there on.
3.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button:
High

9/10
Benjamin Button was great, from the beginning to the end, it got boring at parts but only a few, I didn't like Cate Blanchett to much but Brad Pitt did a really good job and deserved his nomination for the awards. The visuals were great, the screenplay was great (i don't care if it was like Forrest Gump, I loved Forrest Gump), yeah, it was great.
2.
The Visitor Very High

9.5/10
I absolutely loved this movie. It was full of emotions, the characters were likable and their acting was great, all of them, especially Richard Jenkins and Hiam Abbass(she was snubbed!). It was terrifically written, the music was beautiful, the cinematography was good. I was hoping for a specific type of ending, but it didn't come, because the writing was great, nothing was predictable.

Slumdog Millionaire:

10/10
Best movie of 2008 for sure(for what I've seen). The whole cast did great, the adults, the supermodel, the children(everyone). Danny Boyle didn't dissapoint, he directed really, really well.
(Frost/Nixon and Benjamin Button are a tie for me)
