I saw The Dark Knight Rises at midnight (doing the watching Batman Begins and the Dark Knight beforehand). And at the time i really didn't like it all that much. I actually said fuck you to the screen when Blake's full name included Robin. (We'll get to why I didn't like that)

After watching it again today I had most of the same problems that I did before; but they didn't bother me as much this time around. Lets start with the problems. 

1st. Bane. Now before you get on my case I say Bane is a scary motherfucker . . . but he's just talia's merc. Which bugged me because from what I have seen of Bane and read of Bane. He can work on his own. Second. The Mask only holds up his face. So why does it A, distort his voice and B having pipes move off of it cause him pain (and give him the ability to punch through the posts that hold up a building.) C He at the end of the movie somehow can't take the punches that Batman dished out earlier. 

2nd Certain things that the movie makes you take its word for. 

I don't wanna use the dreaded word of plot hole here but I kinda need to because it makes no sense why A Bane is just the ultimate badass and can take on batman. There's no venom he's just a muscled out guy.  B Bruce Wayne is able to get out of butt fuck nowhere after escaping the prison. C Why Bruce Wayne was trusting of Talia. After Believing in Harvey Dent and then he turned is it unfair to think he really wouldn't trust in anyone any more. D How Fucking Old is Bane? They Show Talia is a young girl and Bane before he got his face rearranged. Bane looks almost exactly the same (but with the mask) and Talia looks almost 30. 

3rd and last. The Ending. 

Bane was taken out like a punk by Catwoman (which worked somewhat for her to save batman but i'd rather have batman have to break his rule to defeat his final enemy.) Talia's Death was handled terrible. Trying to shove all the motivation of her character in the last 10 minutes or so. With Blake's name being Robin (in some form or another) bugged me. I thought Blake stood on his own two feet with guidance from Gordon not Bruce. Also who the fuck names a boy Robin. and Lastly is the Inception style scene at the end with Alfred. I just don't like it. I'd rather have Bruce Wayne either dead or alive not in a maybe he is maybe he isn't. 

Welp. That's it. Overall despite the problems. I give it a second time around a high matinee.
