Jonathan AKA JodeneSparks posted a statusOn Thursday July 5, 2012 my mom, my little brother Jean Marco and I went to San Pedro Sula, Honduras to visit my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David and my grandparents.
On Thursday morning my dad drove my mom, Jean Marco and I to the airport. Once we made it through airport security we said good-bye to my dad and we stoped to have breakfast in McDonalds. While we were in line I thought I saw Zachary Gordon who plays Greg Heffley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies but unfortunately it wasn't him. It was just another lookalike. After we ate Breakfast my mom, Jean Marco and I got in the airplane to Miami Florida.
Two hours later my mom, Jean Marco and I made it to Miami Florida and we ate Chinese food for lunch.
An hour later, we got in the airplane to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Once my mom, Jean Marco and I got to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David and my grandparents were happy to see us again and we drove to my grandparents house while we told them about our trip.
After my mom, Jean Marco and I gave some presents to the rest of the family Jean Marco got a classical Guitar from my grandparents and I got two nice T-Shirts from them.
I stayed in touch with you guys thanks to my grandparents computer, my ipad and my aunt Aleiandra's Laptop.
My mom, Jean Marco and I spent the first few days in Honduras driving around the city with my grandfather and giving money to poor people, teens and little kids in need. Then we would drive back to the house for Lunch with a bag of spicy Doritos and a bottle of Coca-Cola for me.
Since the sun is so hot, the people of Honduras prefer to drink a cold bottle of Coca-Cola or Pepsi instead of water, so that's where my love of Coca-Cola and Pepsi came from.
The next day my grandfather drove us to check out my Uncle Jose and my aunt Aleiandra new house and aI thought the house looked very nice and I was happy to discover that my aunt Aleiandra was a day care teacher. Heh. I guess she got the insperation from watching Daddy Day Care. They even had a great maid.
My mom, Jean Marco and I would have sleepovers at her house and we would buy Cheese Pizza and Coca-Coca and my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra and my cousins Andrea and David would watch The Three Stooges movie with us and they thought the movie was hysterical.
On Monday July 9th, my family and celebrated my Uncle Jose's birthday. The birthday party was decorated with a lot of things from the movie Captain America The First Avenger. We even had a Captain America pinata.
On Tuesday July 10th, my mom, Jean Marco, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David, my grandma and I went to the movie theater in the mall to see Ice Age 4 Continental Drift and while it wasn't as good as the first three movies, I thought Ice Age 4 was a decent ending to the funny and charming animated movie quadrilogy because the decent story is filled with smart and nice messages about how importaint family and friends are, very funny moments, funny lines and pretty awesome and cool action scenes. So I give this movie 3½ out of 5 stars. A low Full Price!! I'm glad Korey and Leon liked the movie.
On Thursday July 12th, I rented Fantastic Mr. Fox on DVD and even though I never finished reading the book I have to say that Fantastic Mr. Fox was a quick, funny, very entertaining, sweet and wonderful looking animated movie about a fox´s redemption. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. A Full Price!!
On Sunday July 15th, my family and I went to church so my mom and I could say hello to our old friends.
While I was in Honduras, I also did a lot of swimming and physical therapy for 1 hour for two weeks and when I was done for the day my mom would buy me a bag of spicy Doritos and a bottle of Coca-Cola for me as a reward.
On Saturday July 28th, my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David, my grandma, my mom, Jean Marco and I drove to Tegucigalpa and after a 3½ hour drive I finally got to see my other uncles, aunts and cousins again and that was great because I haven´t seen them since I was 10 years old. My Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra and my cousins stayed in a hotel right in front of a Cinemark movie theater.
The next day, my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David, my mom, my grandma, Jean Marco, my other uncles, aunts, cousins and I had fun eating Lunch at this place called Valle de Ángeles. I even helped give a nice lost dog some food to eat. We also drove in motor taxis.
Then, on Sunday night after wating two weeks, my uncle Victor, his girlfriend, my couisins and I went to a nearby movie theater to see The Dark Knight Rises and we all loved it.
I thought The Dark Knight Rises was SO WORTH waiting 221 hours to see because in my opinion it was the most perfect, hugly entertaining and emotional conclusion to a Superhero trillogy since Spider-Man 3.
The reason I say this is because in my opinion at the time there hasn't been a Superhero movie that ties up the storylines of three movies perfectly other than Spider-Man 3. I give The Dark Knight Rises 5 out of 5 stars. My mom, my aunt Aleiandra and my uncle Jose LOVED The Dark Knight Rises. I'm so glad The Spill.com Crew also loved the movie.
On Monday July 30th, my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David, my grandma, my mom, Jean Marco and I said good-bye to my other uncles, aunts and cousins and we drove back to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
On Thursday August 9, my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David, my grandparents, my mom, Jean Marco and I got on a cruise and we went to the beauitful island of Roatán to stay at Infinity Spa and Beach Resort with my uncle Alex, his brother Steven and my aunt Yania for three days. I also bought The Carnivorous Carnival, the ninth novel in the novel series A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.
The Infinity Spa and Beach Resort was a remarkable resort because the beach looked amazing, the pool looked great, the bedrooms were awesome and the food was delicious. My family and I would go swimming in either the beach or the pool, then we would have lunch and at night after I finished reading a chapter of The Carnivorous Carnival and talking to my Spill friends and Facebook friends thanks to my Uncle Jose's laptop, my cousins, Jean Marco and I would watch episodes of Jessie. My family and I would also go sailing around the resort where we saw the beach houses of Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone and Cameron Diaz.
After 3 days, my family and I went back to San Pedro Sula.
On August 16, my mom, Jean Marco and I had a barbeque at our grandparents house and we said good-bye to my Uncle Jose, my aunt Aleiandra, my cousins Andrea and David. Then by Friday morning, my mom, Jean Marco and I said good bye to my grandparnts and we headed back to Boston Massachusetts.
Two hours later my mom, Jean Marco and I made it to Miami Florida and we ate Cheese Pizza for lunch.
An hour later, we got in the airplane to Boston Massachusetts. We saw The Avengers again on the way there.
Once my mom, Jean Marco and I got back to Boston my stepdad was happy to see us again and once we grabed our stuff and headed out of the airport I thought I saw Zachary Gordon again but unfortunately it wasn't him. It was just another lookalike yet again.
It´s a coincidence that Zachary Gordon came to Boston on Thursday because I was there on Friday and I would like to meet him so I tell him that I also audtioned to play Greg and I got 3½ out of 5 stars back in Janurary 2009 but I like him as Greg because he also loves the book series and he plays the role of Greg in a similar way that I would of if I won the role.
I'm sure Zach would of appreciated my kind words about his passion to play Greg and he would let me take a picture with him and Jean Marco and give us his autograph as a way of saying Thank You. :)
Anyway my family and I drove happly back home.
Then on Sunday August 19, after wating two weeks, Jean Marco and I finally went to the movie theater to see the 6:35 P.M. movie presentation of Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days while my mom and dad went to see the 6:30 P.M. movie presentation of The Bourne Legacy.
Jean Marco and I thought Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days was worth waiting two weeks to see because it was surprisingly the best movie in the funny and chaming trillogy because it's a fun, very funny, wildly entertaining and heartwarming comedy movie with a great message about honesty, loyalty and accepting the blame for your mistakes because in the end you learn from them since a man who makes no mistakes, is a man who hasn't learned anything. I give the movie 5 out of 5 stars and I'm glad Leon enjoyed the movie too.
Jean Marco enjoyed the movie so much that he was disppointed when the movie hit it's epilogue.
Since the young and talented actors in the movie are all 14 years old, I think they should make Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Ugly Truth next Spring because that book is about puberty and growing up and it's a great way to end the movie series.
On the way home, we told our parents how good Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days and they told us how much they enjoyed watching The Bourne Legacy.
So that's how mom, Jean Marco and I spent our summer vacation in Honduras.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this blog post, please let me know what you thought of it and please wish my luck as I enter 11th grade my Junior year of High School this September.
Thank You. :)

Comment by Hector Fernando Andrade JR. II on August 26, 2012 at 10:12pm @Spill's Nerdy Film Critic: Leon said that he found himself enjoying Wimpy Kid 3 because every once in awhile something funny would happen in the movie that made him laugh a lot. Leon said Wimpy Kid 3 was the best movie in the trillogy.
