Thomas and the Magic Railroad
(sigh) A childhood icon of mine has been raped by Hollywood and that icon is Thomas the Tank Engine.
Now, Thomas the Tank Engine is a famous British icon from the 80's and 90's and kids around the world loved him, it was originally a series of books called The Railway Series by Rev. W. Awdry and British producer/writer Britt Allcroft decided to turn the books into a TV show with characters from the books like Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon and many more and human characters like The Fat Controller (sometimes know as Sir Topham Hatt), and the franchise was a big sucsess around the world and even had an American spin off called Shining Time Station, just listen to the catchy tune of the British version
BUT THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................................
It was decided that a Thomas movie should be made, and what followed is one of the worst films I have ever seen
The film is directed/produced/written by Allcroft and she decided to put characters from Shining Time Station in the movie and made up characters as well just to confuse the UK who no nothing about Shining Time Station.
Anyway the movie stars Alec Baldwin, Peter Fonda and Mara Wilson and its just crap just watch the film to see how crap it is (how whole film is actually on Youtube) so I'm gonna give it
