Plot:
Paul Blart (Kevin James) has applied many times to become a cop, however he always fails the physics exam due to the fact that he is overweight. So, he becomes a mall guard. One day a gang of organized criminals place the mall under seige. Blart is trapped inside and, because of his seemingly never-ending loyalty, refuses to leave. Thus, he has to stop the criminals himself.
My review:
Walking in to see Paul Blart: Mall Cop, my expectations were certainly not very high. But, however, I must admit that its not
THAT bad. But, its not that great either. There are some pretty funny moments, but those moments are not that great in number. Most of the comedy comes from one of two things: eating or running into things. This comedy style of course gets old after a short while, same for those 'fat guy riding a Segway' jokes.
Now as I said before, this isn't the worst film lately (looking at YOU Bride Wars and The Unborn), and for a children's comedy, its not too bad, but for anyone over the age of 10, this will just give a few good laughs.
