My Idea For A Punisher Film.

Plot:
Vietnam Veteran and current CPD Officer Frank Castle’s world is destroyed when his wife, son and daughter are killed during a Mafia hit. Castle spins out of control taking the law in his own hands, killing powerful members of the Russo Family, who are controlled by Billy “The Beaut” Russo for his genius. Castle eventually quits the CPD and starts a full out war against Russo and anyone who stands in his way. The Beaut senses his Empire starting to crack so he gets the Kingpin to send him some backup: Ox, Fancy Dan and Montana aka the Enforcers. In return Castle gets a partner from Linus Lieberman, a man who has been in the same place as Castle. Will Frank Castle defeat his demons and bring his vengeance to the people who killed his family?

Comment by Alec Malcolmson on May 24, 2009 at 12:48am - Does the character punisher (Originally) ever have any thoughts besides killing criminals and avenging the death of his entire family. I think that's the problem, this story cant be emotionally driven and if you consider it to already be emotional its very uninteresting and flat. While I hate the movie series; Spider Man is a decent example. Peter Parker deals with the death's in the family, what is right or wrong, relation ships, identity. I could easily reference Watchmen but the Punisher is certainly not as complex as that. Punisher deals with one thing; death and now because people he loved died he's going kill more people. I really want to write a Punisher Film about him and his family before and after the murders and the effect it has on him and by the end hes completely heartless.
