My Best and Worst Films of the 2008

This was a good year for film. It showed that summer blockbusters can be more then eye candy; they could be a deep movie as well. For every good movie however there were bad movies that made you cringe if you saw them. So time to see witch movies were the best and worst movies of 2008.

10.) Pineapple Express: Two stoners running away from bad guys because one witness a murder, awesome.

9.) Hellboy II: The Golden Army: Cool characters, cool action, and cool creatures. So this movie is basically contains high amounts of coolosity, I know that’s not a word, but that’s how awesome this movie is.

8.) Rambo: This film some how passes the blood factor of Saving Privet Ryan which is a big feat.

7.) Cloverfield: This film is like any Godzilla movie, except Godzilla movies suck and Cloverfield is awesome even though its plot points like the main characters motivation to go save his girlfriend are not that great.

6.) Tropic Thunder: Who knew that the Heartbreak Kid was such a good director and that he can make a funny movie.

5.) The Incredible Hulk: This is what a Hulk movie should be, lots of destruction and a final monster fight to the death.

4.) Burn After Reading: The Coan Brothers did it; they made a movie with an ending and a funny one at that.

3.) Iron Man: The movie that made everyone shout, I am Iron Man

2.) The Curious Chase of Benjamin Button: Brad Pitt in his best role since he played that crazy guy from 12 Monkeys. Along with some nice CGI, this movie is Forrest Gump except with a very old baby.

1.) The Dark Knight: You all saw this coming.

Worst Movies of 2008: Just so you know there will be no Disaster Movie or Meet the Spartans, I didn't see them and I don't want to see them so let's leave it at that

10.) The Chronicles of Narrnia Prince Caspian: I know I am going to get a lot of heat for this, but I think this movie is very overrated. The plot is so thin that if there’s a gust of wind it will blow away and the acting from the live actors was bad. You know that you have a bad movie when the CGI effects show more personality then the live actors.

9.) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Crap: Yes I am a hater. I have the same complaints as everyone else that hate this movie. Temple of Doom was more plausible then Kingdom and that had Indiana Jones jumping from a plane on a raft.

8.) Hancock: This movie was so good in the first act that I was ready to put it in my top 10 list of the 2008, then once it hit that secant act it fell faster then the Hindenburg crash.

7.) Speed Racer: For a movie called Speed Racer it was one slow movie. This movies is just one slow acid trip.

6.) Twilight: The first hafe was boring, the secant hafe was even more boring with, and the last hafe was like watching a really bad WB show. Besides the bad dialog and the the lack of character development, this movie gets romance confused with stocking.

5.) Quarantine: This movie is just like Rec. if you exclude the bad American acting and overall stupidity of the characters.

4.) The Day the Earth Stood Still: Just the Day the Earth Stood Still with CG, bad acting, and product placement.

3.) The Ruins: Stupid people in a stupid situation, killer talking plants. Who ever thought of this idea was smocking a plant

2.)10,000 BC: Historical wrong, horrible acted, and boring. This movie tried to cash in early like 300, but fails really, really, really hard, like a pop singers carrier

1.) The Spirit: This is exactly like Sin City, except it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck’s.
