The Phenomenal One posted a blog postIn a rather appropriate piece of marketing, the latest trailer for Steven Spielberg's biopic 'Lincoln' hit last night during the presidential debates. No matter what your political views, it's hard to deny the timing of the release of this trailer certainly aided its impact; truly inspiring preview of the film. I cannot wait to see Daniel Day-Lewis' portrayal of The Great Emancipator, and the use of other trying moments in America's history in the new trailer puts the 16th president's legacy into a much greater context. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.
'Lincoln' arrives in theaters November 9th

Comment by Robert Wild on October 7, 2012 at 9:08pm I never thought I would say this about a political/history film, but damn, this trailer was pretty epic :)
Comment by Dick on October 5, 2012 at 10:36am Cue the crypto-racists with their usual drivel: "The civil war was about 'states rights', not about slavery. The Confederacy didn't like slavery. Ron Paul 2012", etc, etc.
Comment by Plikis on October 5, 2012 at 9:37am I think it's less moving and more corny.
Damn, with a capital D....powerful stuff.....can't wait to see this!!!
Comment by Allan on October 5, 2012 at 2:20am Great trailer. This has the potential of being a great dramatic Spielberg movie - unlike War Horse...

Comment by Robert Wild on October 4, 2012 at 6:56pm Both trailers for this movie have very different tones, so it's easy to prefer one over the other. But I love both! They are both great, and do their jobs. It's still a little hard for me to get used to the "Lincoln voice" but im sure it will work for me once I see the film. And Day-Lewis already looks like he has an AMAZING performance as Lincoln. The rest of the cast looks great!
And I do agree that wig doesn't fit Tommy Lee at all, but, he does look like the man he is portraying. Other than a few nitpicks, the trailer is great, and I hope the movie is to. Hope this is another Spielberg classic. Can't wait! :)
