"Whose dick does Leo DiCaprio have to suck to get an Oscar? The Great Gatsby was brilliant!"
If it's crap ... We'll tell you

Ben Affleck's writing, directing, and acting at its best. This man simply blew my mind, due to the fact that I've never found Ben Affleck to be an interesting actor. He was just always "Oh, that guy from Daredevil..." *shivers*. But now he has proven himself to me as a talented man, no doubt. This piece of work is just brilliant, and I just wish I got to see it in theaters, because I've been missing out on this film until just the other night ago. And don't yell at me for putting this film so low in my list! It's just the fact that I have more of a passion for everything else in this list than "The Town". But that does not change the fact that I love this film and its brilliance.
It isn't my favorite HP film (Order of the Phoenix still keeps its stand), but the quality in the film making of this series sure has improved by the mile. This film is so different from the past 6 movies, now that we have to watch our three beloved heroes run for their lives OUTSIDE of Hogwarts. No one is safe, and the tension builds with so much drama, you're gripped to your seat hoping nothing happens to these characters we've grown up with. I didn't cry as much as every other super hardcore HP fan, but this movie really did move me emotionally. To see the film end was such a disappointment, because even though you walked into the film KNOWING it was only a Part 1, you STILL have the urge to see the movie continue. But we're left with a cliffhanger, and now we wait... Hopefully Part 2 achieves our expectations, or even surpasses it.
This fucking movie... I was shocked by how much I enjoyed it. I saw this with my best friend, in a theater full of 5-9 year olds, and him and I were the only ones in the theater cheering and laughing like crazy. Especially at the final battle at the end?! Wow. We went crazy. Dragons are truly badass. Not only was this film badass, but it was hilarious, and BEAUTIFUL. The animation was TOPNOTCH for this film, and I praise the animators to the greatest for designing such a wonderful film. If I could change anything though... it'd be the voice casting for Hiccup. I absolutely despise Jay Baruchel's voice. It really does aggravate me. I noticed it from when I saw Tropic Thunder. But at least, he had other people to shut him up in that film...
This is probably the funniest movie I've seen all year. Honestly. I couldn't believe how ridiculously awesome it was. I've never been a big fan of John Cusack, but he surely did carry his own in this film. EVERYONE carried their own in this film! Just non-stop hilarity, I was almost in tears. I'm so glad I didn't miss out on this movie this year, because I truly adore every bit of this movie. This movie is pure comedy gold. I hope it becomes a classic.
Respectfully the highest grossing film of 2010. This movie was simply perfect, and was one of the few to emotionally put me to tears. Not only tearing up, but SOBBING. Never have I cried over characters, but THESE specific characters... they were incredibly hard for me to let go. Growing up with this film series as a child, up until now as a 16 year old boy, it shows that Pixar put its A+ game to this film because it took me down emotionally like some little bitch. It really does take a lot to make me cry. It is by far one of the greatest films I have ever seen.
God damnit. This movie was nearly perfect, had it not been for the ending. Everyone has their theories of the film's ending, but I hate confusing myself. I had my eyes and ears stuck to this entire film, KNOWING I hadn't missed a damn thing, until that ending which left me like "WAIT, WHAT? WAS THIS ALL FOR NOTHING?". But, minus those final 5 seconds of the film, this film was truly awesometastic. The cinematography, action, writing, acting, and pretty much just EVERYTHING was top notch. And it also hightened my love for Joseph Gordon-Levitt, whom I already loved from (500) Days of Summer, but love more now because of this film. I'm hoping for Inception to get many awards, but that's just the fanboy in me.
I have such a great appreciation for this film, due to how ballsy it was. I'm shocked that a concept like this was even acknowledged as a film. I haven't seen anything so nerdgasmic. This film defines this generation, and I'm hoping it picks up by word of mouth for everyone to see. I came out of this film with an incredible high, turned into fury because this film was completely overlooked because of not only The Expendables, but fucking VAMPIRE SUCKS. I didn't hate The Expendables, but the fact that Vampires Sucks had more of an appeal to audiences than a masterpiece in filmmaking like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World? I question our society these days. Scott Pilgrim is by far, one of the most hilarious and entertaining pieces of cinema I have ever seen, with a soundtrack that is just orgasmic. If you haven't seen this, PLEASE DO SO.
I have never been so obsessed with a film in my life. When I first heard about the concept of this comic, I was surely enthralled, but then hearing there was a movie coming out for it, there was just a glow in my eyes and in my heart. For a good year, I had tracked everything they possibly had about this film, and eventually came to a point where I asked myself "What if... this movie doesn't live up to my expectations...?". I was fearing that this film would become my Phantom Menace. But the opening day struck, and I sat my ass in the movie theater, by myself, and literally cried from joy. The entire movie, I had tears running from my eyes by how fucking amazing this movie was. It acquired to everything I'd ever ask for in a film, and made me into the happiest boy on the fucking planet. People say Kick-Ass himself was overshadowed as a character, and I will admit that, but I was completely satisfied by his shining moment at the climax of the movie. All the characters were phenomenal, ESPECIALLY Hit-Girl. Watching this little girl run around and murder bad guys as easy as it is to hopscotch, it just turned me into a little bitch. I couldn't stop praising this film. And I couldn't have been more satisfied with the ending. When I saw they made a huge turn from the ending in the comics, I was thinking the film was going to crash and burn, but instead Kick-Ass had exceeded my expectations, and has grounded itself as my favorite film of all time.Comment
