MEGAMIND - 2010 NEW TRAILER
What does everyone think of the New Mega-mind Trailer...i sure am loving it....
in the first ten seconds.. it sorta reminded
me of superman and how Kypton was destroyed and he was sent on a
spaceship to earth. but when Metro-man
showed up as a baby. it was hilarious. the visuals look good to the max and
i hope the Imax will blow the movie
skyhigh..wasn't really
feeling the design of the female news reporter . i think there should have
made her more prettier in my opinion
but i like her witty sarcastic attitude......we didnt see Jonah hill's character
really introduced. he only made a small cameo but i am liking how
the movie is going... i can't wait for the movie....

I have one major problem with this movie: it destroys the chances of a good Superman movie being made any time soon by completely aping the material. In fact, after Superman Returns, that thoroughly pisses me off...

Ooh! A sassy, independent female character! I've neeeever seen that in an animated film! Truly groundbreaking stuff there Dreamworks.
Aside from that nasty bit of sarcasm, this could be fun. I kind of wish Dreamworks would knock it off with cramming pop songs into their films though.

Okay, this could be fun if you know you're Superman Mythology.
It looks like they're having fun with the Superman vs. Brainiac formula. I'm guessing that the writers of this are huge nerds, so I'm hopeful, although I don't expect anything as awesome as the Incredibles.
How could this go wrong?
1) Will Ferrell,
2) Writers know they have a hit, so half ass everything but the 3D effects,
3) Follows too closely to the Monsters vs Aliens atmosphere.
4) Will Ferrell,
5) They focus on a younger demographic and leave out all the silver age Superman references.
6) Will Ferrell.

Looks cool, but the trailer is looking so different than the synopsis. I feel like this has potential, but I don't feel like the first half of the movie will be good.
