Very rarely do I hate an animated movie from Disney (can't say the same for the live action movies), but this is one of those occasions. Usually, my thoughts on a Disney film range from "ZOMG, AMAZING!!!" down to "ehh, could have been better", but like I said it's not often that I HATE one of their animated movies. Off the top of my head, I hated "Lilo and Stitch" and that's about it.
This movie, even from just viewing the trailer, looks horrible. And from the small clips that I've seen, I'm not going to rush out and see this. It doesn't help my opinion of it that the 4 of you guys all agreed that this was bad. I'll probably wait 'til it comes out on Netflix before I view it.

@DeistDork I can't believe he said that either. I agree that American Tail 1 has some cheesy moments but it had heart. It also had a decent story and sympathetic characters. The second one was nothing more then a cash grab of a beloved series.

Did Korey say that the American Tail 1 is worse than the sequel?! Korey, you're one cool dude, but nobody, and I mean NOBODY disses the great-in-the-80's Don Bluth! American Tail, the 1st Land Before Time, and Secret of NIMH? Best (and saddest) kids movies. How dare you diss the master!?

At the very least, this movie is likely to be the biggest bomb since Sahara (2005). It's even worse when you realize that the studio gets only 40-50% of the ticket sales. The rest goes to the theaters. That means $5 million return on a $150 million investment.
