The trucks have been in storage in Port KembIa in Australia and are now being transported to Africa, presumably where shooting will take place. I love the designs of these vehicles, changing very little from the mean machines of 'The Road Warrior.' Take a look a the images below and let us know what you think.
'Mad Max: Fury Road' still does not have an official release date

Comment by Justin V. on January 11, 2012 at 6:53pm Wasn't this project delayed because of a rain season in Australia? And now they've decided to simply go to Africa? Seems like they could have made that movie much earlier...Oh well, very interested in seeing how this turns out.
But, after the apocalypse, how is it that marauding vehicular nomads are going to get all this gasoline? I mean, it's a big operation to pump gas out of the ground and refine it taking lots of energy to do it. I guess, I'm saying none of us are as innocent (read: ignorant) about global science as we might have been in the 80's when these movies first came out. (Certainly we know lots more about Mel Gibson now.) But, I really like the guy they have playing Max and love Theron. So, maybe this will be kind of good.
Comment by WAM BAM on January 11, 2012 at 4:36pm Now if this is a reboot and not a film in the same time period, shouldn't they try a little harder than this? These vehicles look like they were made in the same period. If that's what they're going for then good job but I would like them to make it look more modern and not just dusting off the old vehicles
Comment by NotTheWhosTommy on January 11, 2012 at 4:29pm Wait, wasn't this motion capture? I'm so confused...
