In preparation for International Star Wars Day tomorrow (as in "May the 4th Be With You"), the lively fellows over at Lucasfilm have sent out postcards to members of the official Star Wars Fan Club, featuring Princess Leia and R2 and the mysterious caption "On May 4th, All Will Be Revealed".

Rumors have run rampant about what George Lucas could be preparing to reveal, after his surprise Blu-ray announcement at last year's Star Wars Celebration event. There have been rumors of a proposed live-action television series that may be announced, or even possibly the next trilogy in the film saga (Episodes 7-9). Disney has also recently revealed that they're working on a revamped Star Tours ride, so it could be that as well. However, it seems most likely that it will be just be details and information on the aforementioned  Blu-rays (which will be sold as the "complete saga" with all six films, or an "original trilogy" set with just the first three Lucas-updated Special Editions of the original films).

Whatever the announcement is, at least we don't have to wait long to find out. On the back of the postcards, there is a link to a countdown which you can find HERE. So, Spillios - what do you think? Does Lucas have something new up his sleeve? Or will this just be another merchandising grab?

.  Now how cool would it be if they remake the prequels? Of course they not gonna do it anytime soon, but... .
.
I hope they'll do it anyway someday, and I hope I'll live to see it .
.  Because I really wanna see something like this next time around :

.  In other words - let Tarrantino remake the prequels, can't get any worse then they already are, right? .

Speaking of peter Jackson I wish he would do another Horror movie and The Mother Fuckin Hobbit is one movie or two that I would love to see in 3D

Magic Battles, Sword Fights, Half Naked Sexy Elves, Dragons, Midgets With Big Hairy Feet, And my favorite part of it all. Travel Through Middle Earth in 3D.

Lucas has a major jealous-on for Peter Jackson (and James Cameron - during the filming of the Prequels he was upset that his films wouldn't 'catch Titanic' - hence his now 3D screwing the films).  Now he's after the dvd/blu-ray master - the LOTR Extended Editions.  Seriously - I watch these more than I watch the LOTR films themeselves.  They're awesome. And now George want's a piece of *that* cheese.

Pimp.

You're better off saving your money and watching Mr Plinket's Prequel Reviews at Red Letter Media.  Much more entertaining.  Co-Host had the first one as his #1 Movie of 2009.
