The Phenomenal One posted a blog postI gotta admit I almost overlooked this trailer for upcoming horror flick 'Lovely Molly.' I wasn't terribly familiar with it and the title didn't grab me. But when I found out it was the latest film from one of the directors of 'The Blair Witch Project,' I had to take notice. Eduardo Sanchez's new film looks to be a bizarre, atmospheric nightmare shot largely as a traditional narrative, but with a little bit of that old chestnut cinema veritee element thrown in; possibly as a call back to 'Blair Witch?' I don't like the fact that there's a line of text in the trailer that claims the 'Blair Witch' guys "started it all." What is "it" exactly? Horror films? Pretty sure a few were released prior to 1999. But otherwise, I found the trailer to be sufficiently creepy. What do you guys think? If you're interested in other films by Sanchez, I highly recommend 'Altered,' which is currently streaming on Netflix.
'Lovely Molly' is due to have its theatrical premiere September 21st

Comment by Simon Paine on April 2, 2012 at 5:06am I think it looks interesting, and the trailer dose some credit it has not revealed so much about the film leaving us guessing and I like that, it dose look interesting to how the woman is losing her mind and what is causing this, might be worth watching
Comment by Luke Hero on April 1, 2012 at 11:43pm Looks like it's going to run into the same problem most Haunted House movies run into....Just Leave the Damn House..Unless of course the Pull an Insidious and say the person, not the house is Haunted
Comment by HudsonsirhesHicks on March 31, 2012 at 8:49pm They dare use 'Lord of the Rings executive producer' as a selling point? That ain't right.

Comment by pinkyapple on March 31, 2012 at 12:28am Sorry, the believe-ability flew away as soon as she picks up a camera while she's freaking out. I can understand her setting up the camera after the fact to record what happens to her and to document her losing her grip on reality, but to pick it up when you've just see something frightening and trying to get away from it? No.
Comment by Exploding Knees on March 30, 2012 at 10:15pm Never cared much for ghost stories and haunted houses.
Comment by Smoppers on March 30, 2012 at 7:55pm You know exactly what they meant, you fuck. The 'found footage' trend.
Also, it's Lord Voldemort, calling it now.
