If it's crap... We'll tell you

First off,

This is not a spam sale offer. It is a quest to give fellow horror movie lovers info on where to get some of the greatest Horror movies of all time at a unholy ridiculously low price.

The 'Lose Weight' part of this message's title refers to people can spend their $5 bills to buy a classic horror DVD instead of the another burger and fries and pizza combo.

K-Mart is still around. K-Mart is celebrating Halloween this year by selling classic horror movie DVDs for $5 new condition. These movies are new are not the movie's original DVD release which had little or no real special features/DVD extras, These are DVD releases of the classic horror movies from late 90s to know.

At a smart K-Mart you can find these classic horror movies in thier own eyey catching display in the stupid K-Marts these $5 new condition horror gems are thrown in a giant budget DVD bin with allot of other crappy $5 or less movie turds like One Fine Day and Grandma's Boy: Unrated.

Here are the classic horror you can find at K-Mart for $5:

I bought these:

Dawn of the Dead
Movie Company Rating: Unrated!
Theater Release: 1978
Extras: Film Commentary track by George A. Romero!

Day of the Dead

I'm going to buy these next:

Theater Release: 1988
Extras: Director Commentary

Children of the Corn
Movie Company Rating: Unknown

ALERT: You should get these $5 horror classics before there isn't a K-Mart to sale them. Wal-Mart is out for the kill. They have implemented Project Impact to take advantage of the bad economy's impact on the competition like K-Mart, Toys R' Us, and Michael's Stores.

Here is the article about the start of One Nation Under Walmart:

Walmart's Project Impact: A Move to Crush Competition

Some good news:

I finished watching the original Dawn of the Dead followed by the original Day of the Dead. I haven't watched it with freakin' GEORGE A. ROMERO's commentary, but I did see all the original theater previews and TV spots for Dawn of the Dead even if they all the same narration, same visuals, and the different color swatches as the only difference.

I am a Zombie of my word, so I bought Hellraiser (Rated R) and Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 (Unrated). I bought these instead of the original original 'The Hills Have Eyes' because the Hellraiser movies are the first in a long sequel based series of movies.

For any fans of Mexican Lucha movies, at least here in California, K-Mart sales these and other Mexican movies as low as $1.95.

I bought my first ever Lucha Libre movie: Los Cannallas starring Mil Mascaras and costarring a Mexican actor and actress I never heard of.

The only time I remember watching Lucha film was at my Granparents home. All I remember was watching El Santo get bit on the forearm by a cobra his enemies put in his bed. He preceded to suck out and spit out the poison and then tourniquet his forearm. I'm glad I never got bit by a cobra, since I now know sucking out the venom and spitting it out replaces cause of death from accidental snake bite poisoning to stupid luchador imitated suicide.

I took the movie and watched it with my 'Abuelito'. I got a kick out of the villains: a dominatrix who lead a satanic cult to rescue her imprisoned fieance and his hook handed cell mate. My favorite momen was a early dance party scene where I woman walks in and takes off her shirt. My granpa said 'here we go'. I was relieved I was not going to see a nude seen with my granpa when the woman took off her shirt only to reveal another shirt.

So yeah, if you want experience great movies for great prices go to K-Mart.

If you you can't make it to a K-Mart it's okay, I hear Walmart has great deals, too.

Oh, and the extras on Halloween are "Halloween Unmasked 2000", a Bio on Jon Carpenter and a bunch of original radio and tv spots

Sweet Zombie, thanks for posting this. I picked up Halloween, Hellrasier, and Dawn of the Dead today and I might pick up Creepshow 1 and 2 and Children of the Corn later.

Crap, the only K-mart is 200 miles away! Driving all that way for five dollar horror movies doesn't save me any money when I spend 50$ on gas. I'm so bummed..... Bah! Humbug!

Nice deals. Big Lots had a pretty cool sale on DVD's. They weren't horror films, but they were selling The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (Limited Edition Extended Version), 8 Mile, some seasons of the Batman Animated Series, etc. all for $5.00 a pop. They had some horror films there as well.
