Lionsgate Acquires Miley Cyrus Comedy 'LOL'
Source: Lionsgate FilmsLionsgate has announced this morning that it has acquires the Miley Cyrus comedy LOL.
The film, written and directed by Lisa Azuelos, is an American version of her 2008 French hit Laughing Out Loud. Demi Moore, Thomas Jane and Ashley Greene co-star in the story about Lola (Cyrus) and her friends, who navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents.
There's no word on a release date, but we know that LOL will hit theaters sometime next year.
