If it's crap... We'll tell you

We interrupt your regularly scheduled 'A Couple of Cold Ones' to bring you a very special 'Let's Do This!'.

That's right. So much happened this month that this week's recording went on for a hefty 3 1/2 hours long - lenghty enough to split the show up into two parts. So what could we possibly have talked about for almost four hours? Well, let's see... there's the heat here in Texas, old people who die form the heat, we address the whole racial issue surrounding the Transformers characters Mudflap and Skids, another sad fried chicken video ('Fry that chciken, fry that chicken!'), we cover the recent celebrity deaths of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, David Carradine, and Billy Mays, and we do much reminiscing about the King of Pop. Just what will be covered in this first half of the show? You'll have to listen and find out. Look for part two this upcoming Wednesday.

And here's one of the weirdest pieces of fan art I've seen, but it's also pretty great. Thanks to the beautiful Keira for this one.

i KNEW you guys would post an early LDT to talk about Michael Jackson's death. that's probably the sole reason for it.

I hate to be a cynic, but Michael Jackson didn't invent the moonwalk; there were plenty of performers who used it before him, such as tap dancer Bill Bailey, Marcel Marceau, and David Bowie. Jackson just popularized it.

none of what you said about Invincible was true. Invincible went double platinum, and although it was low by Michael Jackson standards, it was ahuge commercial success. Not to mention, he had the Madison Square Garden performance that year which was HUUUUUGE.

He was mad at Tommy Mattola due to a contract dispute and said that Mottola treated none of his black artists correctly including Irv Gotti. This had to due with a dispute over the ownership of Michael's masters, all of this occured BEFORE he released Invincible, which MJ was mad at Sony for failure to promote properly.

You weren't even close Korey, you sounded like the plot of Transformers 2 there for a while, just rambling along as a vehicle for a 2nd sequel.......sigh.......fuck your thoughts.

I find it funny that when someone is alive no one really gives a shit about you unless your on the top of the game or giving free shit away , but when some person thats lost his or her way and is not in the spot light anymore or even a family member dies like when my dad died , before he died people said my dad was a son of a bitch drug addicted looser who nobody cared about . And then he died and was a GOD DAMMED MOTHERFUCKING SAINT who everybody all of the sudden loved and adored who had nothing but kind words to say about my dad . Now it's the same shit with Mike , he was the butt of everybody's jokes and ridiculed by pretty much everyone (ASIDE FROM THE TRUE DIE HARD FANS THAT TRULY LOVED THE GUY) all of the sudden talk about him like a saint and a gift from the gods . give me a fucking break . People die everyday and nobody gives a shit about them unless their rich , famous or murderd . If my dad had died from a heart attack people would not have made a big fuss but since he was blown away 2000 people were at his funeral but the day he died he couldn't buy a friend

michael jackson is a confirmed sufferer of vitilgo and lupus. vitilgo whitens the pigmentation of the skin. he started suffering from it after the thriller album. he even told people this to people on oprah in 1993 and when his doctor confirmed this in 1994 but still no on believed him. anyway i thin smooth criminal is his best video, the choreography is top notch.

this is a typical sufferer of vitilgo:
