To understand the fear of patterns of holes, look up "lotus breast". It's like a visual cue for disease and horrible horrible infections eating at your skin.
That was such a fun episode, I want to hear more stories.

Ive never seen some one so affraid that they lost control of their bladder, I have seen some one get startled and lose it though...
On my last tour in iraq, the battalion XO (eXecutive Officer) rode along with us. He had some business at an iraqi police station. So as we're rollin along the XO is riding in the platoon leaders truck. a small, and i stress *SMALL* IED goes off right outside that truck, right out side his window. Not enough to do any real damage to the truck (although an unprotected person would have been in trouble). Standard response for my unit is roll though, turn around and look for the trigger man, so we do. Dont see anything so we continue on with the mission. At theIP station, the XO heads in to handle his business, and the PL's driver looks back and sees that the seat has a large wet spot on it....
