I just watched 'Metropolis', and 'Paprika', loved both of them.  But please do not make LEOG an anime show.  People who like Anime have enough, they do not need to invade Spill with their insanity!  My Netflix que has plenty of anime, I'll find it, I know it's out there, I don't want to hear any more gushing!

dude anime ain't that bad. although not a big fan (neither of comic books to be honest) my cousin loves that shit and he's shown me some cool shit. i love evangelion.

dragon ball z, saint seiya....captain tsubasa....i grew up watching that shit on tv and i love it

Anyone who claims they only watched five minutes of a two hour premier, probably shouldn't offer their criticism. That's just my opinion though.

 

Also props to Leon for mentioning Big O!  I remember it being described to me as "Batman with mechs", and it isn't exactly that, but it's very cool!

I thought The Cape was pretty cool.

It's finally a superhero show with actual costumes!

 

Heroes, Smallville, No Ordinary Family, etc.  All of these shows were terrified of the traditional superhero, cape-and-tights trope.

@MaJoMoMc if you like mecha anime then you should check out the Gundamn podcast at Mahq.net. I am excited to hear there is goin to be a LEOG anime segment. Even if a few members don't like anime it will still be entertaining, like their worst of reviews. But there is so much anime out there I am sure even Cyrus has something he enjoys.
