Yes, Batman Forever is such my guilty pleasure. For years, I fought people saying, "Tim Burton's version of Batman was shit!" And of the early four movies, Val Kilmer did it for me as Batman...and I had a massive crush on Chris O'Donnell in high school. ;-) Thank you for letting me unburden my soul.

though this has to do with last weeks podcast i have something to say to beau and jason. though i usually agree with a lot of jason's movie/comic tastes i got to go with beau on the ending of blackest night it kicked ass. it was my first comic event i loved everything about it and if brightest day is half as good im going to be wonderfully happy. and as for guilty pleasures though you guys said anime in general is'nt a guilty pleasure i hate to admit this but...i..still love watching sailor moon and oh boy do i feel guilty given the fact im a 25 year old male

Hey, I'm with you now. CrowTR. I'm midway through season 3 of Atlantis and loving the hell out of it.

Well I didn't think my love of all things Stargate (I'm withholding judgment on SGU} was a guilty pleasure until Cyrus canned it. You really need to look past the Richard Dean Anderson of the past and see the lovable character of Jack O'Neill. The Farscape people are in SG-1 in the last few seasons and Jewel Staite is in the last few seasons of Atlantis...No I am not ashamed of my love of Stargate... I do feel guilty of the fan video I made for it when I was bored.

@Tully, I love the show for the characters too. Sure we seen them all but this is the first time I felt like I could really feel part of that gang unlike many other shows where I don't like them all and only like two to three characters. As for the jokes, they are on and off. some are predictable but some are pretty original and funny as hell. Plus I don't see that many holes on the plot. They connected everything together from previous episodes.

I have to agree with Cat about Supernatural. I don't consider it a guilty pleasure at all and have loved the show more and more with each season. The first season took a while to find it's footing during the "Monster of the Week" phase, and it's really noticable now that I'm watching the first season on TNT while watching the fifth on the CW. Overall though, the show has a great, season arcing plot that they always get back around to, great drama, horror, comedy, action, and even a few thought provoking moments, especially with the fifth season (Though the inevitable sixth season has me a bit worried).

As Cyrus said, the scripts weren't all that great in the first season, but I found Buffy's first season to be on the same level with Supernatural's, as it took a while to get into and really get into the good stuff in later seasons.

Yes, each season has built up something much bigger, badder, and darker on the horizon, but Jared and Jensen have REALLY tapped into their abilities and fleshed out their characters. I think Cat ought to give Cyrus a few stand alone, more lighthearted episodes from the later season's to see if he notices the differences that I have in both the actors and characters. At least introduce him to Dr. Badass.

I really love that the show knows how to go to a really dark, dark place, but then poke fun at itself at the same time. The show has only gotten better and better with each season, and I've never felt a real sudden, unexplainable change in the brother's personalities. The character development has always seemed smooth and constant.
