I've listened to it a couple of times this weekend, while working on stuff around the house. Everything that was said was solid, and I didn't feel that I needed to add anything. This is a very well-rounded and complete episode of LEOG. Well done, folks!

Kingdom of heaven directors cut is my favorite directors cut because you know how in the original cut they never explained why Sybila turned into a emo chick at the end....directors cut totally explains it...in fact the driectors cut adds a whole new story to this film that makes for some of the most emotional stuff in the whole movie.

Great show guys.

They owe Will Smith an Oscar? If that's the matter, then they should give one to Johnny Depp already, he actually deserves it.

I'm not diggin' a future version of Sgt Rock. It's WWII or nothing for me!

I mean, how simple was it for him to just be another droid. If he was randomly teamed up with R2-D2?

And...as a writing major, Lucas committed the ultimate sin in the last movie. I know they couldn't get the actor, but the whole deal with Yoda telling Obi-Wan he could communicate with an old friend, and then tells him it's Qui-Gonn. Yeah, show, DON'T tell! In fact, they didn't even show us how someone could come back from death. That's bullshit! Don't build up a mystery only to not tell us and have your characters do it off screen.

Here's another thing I didn't get about the prequels. Why build up these villains if you're barely gonna do anything with them. Darth Maul? Yeah, a glorified set piece. Count Dooku/Darth Tyrannus?...a useless figure head. General Grevious? A CGI effect that didn't amount to anything other than having Obi-Wan be seperated during the Jedi massacre.

Don't get me started on the whole C-3P0 thing.

Yay we get some STARWARS talk in this one. I actually like the scene where they had Jabba meet Han near the Millenium Falcon, so sue me lol. I love that scene with Han and Greedo to that was a classic scene. The whole series in general is very rememorable. You guys do have a point the Jedi are kinda like the UN, they should have never been involved with polotics at all. and I hated the fact that only certain people could become Jedi because that ruined the whole fantasy of Jedi in general. I had no idea why the hell they couldnt save Anakin's mom. If I was there I would have killed Watto and taken the parts nessesary for our ship and Anakin and his mom. I don't know why George Lucas had the idea that no Jedi could have any personal attachments because in the New Jedi Order Luke Skywalker abandonds that rule all together for the sole purpose of preventing another Jedi Going down the same pather that Darth Vader did. Plus Anakin and Padme had managed to keep a secret marriage for a while even from Obi-wan and Yoda so what was the point in that. Those were my only complaints about Starwars.

The Jedi really are unlikeable in the prequel trilogy. I think for a lot of Star Wars fans, and people who just enjoy the movies in general, it was deflating to see all the magic (both in the force and of the series) dissapated with bacterial explanations, convoluted political commentary, and bad dialogue.

If you wanna strike up a good conversation with people be they die hard Star Wars fans or just casual fans like me, ask them how THEY thought the back story was going to play out. What did they think the Clone Wars were? How did they feel Anakin fell to the dark side and what the Jedi and Sith were like back in the day. That's always great conversation not just for the interesting stories, but you can see people's imaginations at work.

The closest thing for me as to what I believed the back-story was can be found in the Jedi vs Sith trailer for The Old Republic. That is soooo what I thought the story was. It's kind of sad when a 5 minute trailer tells a better story than three prequel films.
