Finally got around to listening today (while my students were on a library scavenger hunt) - And I think it was one of the best podcasts yet. Granted, I'm heavily biased because of the subject matter, TV being my drug of choice and all. Can't wait for Part 2!

All right. You guys can't smirk about Hiroyuki Sanada (who was in The Last Samurai as well) without having seen Twilight Samurai (or any of the Yoji Yamada Samurai trilogy). Better than Kurosawa's films and I say that completely aware of what'll provoke:

Can't believe there's no plans to talk about Doctor Who. Is that because It's next official season doesn't start until 2010, it's not an American show, or is it because Cyrus may be the only one who watches it?

Cyrus: Couldn't agree with you more about Heroes. I just got done watching the last season and it was pretty shitty. I'm officially done with Heroes

It seems that TV shows do better when they go to DVD. Do you think that we'll get to the point where there will be strait to DVD "TV" series just like strait to DVD movies?
