Weird how he wrote Superman Returns and this feels like an earlier Tim Burton/Spike Jonze mashup or something, but now I have to see that movie. Had to wait for it forever.

So great. Trick r' Treat is an awesome Halloween flick, probably the best in the past decade or more. I was so pissed to find out that it never got a wide release because WB thought it couldn't compete with the Saw movies. Glad it at least got a following on DVD. Would love to see more. Sam is easily one of my favorite horror icons.

It was finished a few years ago, but they just put it on the shelf for awhile. Then they decided to finally release it on video last year. Shame.. I would have loved to see it in theatres.

I remember seeing a trailer back in like 2005 or 2007 for trick or treat and could never find then i started hearing talk of release and was shocked I thought it had come out years before
