I saw it yesterday & it sucked ass! I got dragged into it by my dumbass friend who thought this movie looked better than "The Hangover"...boy he was wrong. Also I'm not the biggest Will Ferrell fan,so fuck it!

I never watched the show but actually... There's a Chaka in Stargate SG-1. From the very trailer i can say that their role was the same.

I just saw it this weekend. It was an overall "Meh". There were a few funny bits, but it was pretty pointless.

Wow... I'm surprised you guys disliked this so much. I mean it was far from perfect, like you mentioned the action scenes just weren't nearly entertaining enough, and some of the jokes either fell flat or just ran for too long, but I thought it was actually pretty funny. I usually don't like Will Ferrells man-boy characters - I rented the last 2 movies of his and actually just turned them off before I could even finish - but I thought that he toned it down enough for this movie and that it worked. I was laughing through the first 20 mins pretty solidly, and the chuckles continued through to the end, with the last 10 minutes being pretty funny too. I'd say matinee.
