So I saw it a week after it came out, so some of this you may of heard already. There will be spoilers, but I'll warn you.
First off to say, overall its a good movie and very watchable. The effects are pretty amazing, the acting is good, story keeps you interested, and I felt like I didn't waste my money.
!!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!! Okay, while sitting through the movie and I wondered "How the hell are they going to end this movie?", I figured it was going to be a weird, awkward sort of ending, and it was. But I knew something like that was coming and I accepted it.
Something this movie did really well was how it was filmed. The transitions, angles, and symbols were shown off very well. A lot of Biblical references were made, especially towards the end when the kids are shown running through the gold grass to the giant tree on the new planet.
One thing that I thought was odd was when Nicolas Cage stopped his kid who started writing numbers. What were those numbers he wrote down for? If you saw the movie, you understand that those numbers can't really be used for anything, so what were they? My guess is the kid was going to take them to the new planet? I don't know.
Overall, a good movie. If weird, uncomfortable endings bother you, this movie is a matinee for you. If you can accept those kinds of endings, I'd say full price. And also would be worth the money to buy on DVD, BluRay if you really want the special effects of this movie to shine.

If I were Nicolas Cage towards the end of the movie, I would of said "You mean the rabbits get to go but not me? F**k this..."
