Kick-Ass Movie Panel at Comic Con
Okay, I was ready for this to suck. Matthew Vaughn is a director whose films I've 'liked' but have been a far cry from loved. The comic book "Kick-ass", by Mark Millar and John Romita jr is one of those uber-violent and shocking, love it or hate it kind of affairs, one which I, and the rest of the Spill and LEOG crew have fallen into the 'love' camp. But as a movie? And Nicolas Cage is in it? But guess what...This was absolutely one of the most bad ass things I've seen at the festival yet and now has officially become one of my most anticipated films. The trailer and clips they showed were astonishingly cool, one of which even earning it a standing ovation. Check out this audio from the panel and hopefully you'll get some idea of how, well, kick-ass it was.

I've never got the chance to read Kick-Ass but I saw the clips from the film and now I REALLY want to hunt down all the issues.

I love that they used the soundtrack from bigger superhero films, especially the one for Superman.
PS: Does anyone know the name of that track from Superman they used here? I've been looking for it all day.
