Josh Brolin has been signed on to star in Spike Lee's remake of the 2003 Korean revenge film 'Oldboy'. The actor was the first choice for the role of a man who is abducted on his daughters birthday and imprisoned for 15 years. After being released he is set on a path of revenge against the people responsible for putting him away and ruining his life.
Brolin has just wrapped on 'Men in Black 3' with Will Smith and is preparing to shoot 'Gangster Squad'. Production for 'Oldboy' will begin in March giving Brolin just enough time to shoot before he begins filming on Jason Reitman's 'Labor Day', which also stars Kate Winslet.

Comment by niall evans on August 29, 2011 at 6:47pm Ugh. I would rather see an American remake of literally any other Korean revenge film.
