'J. Edgar' Parody Trailer Illustrates DiCaprio's Oscar Woes
Well, it is officially Oscar season and the last minute campaign films are crawling out of the woodwork. Clint Eastwood, who apparently is now contractually obligated to make one film per year as quickly as he can, has given us a biopic of J. Edgar Hoover entitled, enigmatically, 'J. Edgar.' The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the historical former head of the FBI. DiCaprio has been courted with Oscar glory several times but has yet to actually achieve the award. This new parody trailer from the crew over at Funny or Die gives voice to Leo's supposed frustration at this. The lip dubbing is actually very convincing. My favorite line is at the close, but I also appreciate the nod to 'Critters 3.' Check out the video and tell us what you think.

I personaly find Leo over ratted. He's an auto pilot actor in good movies. And I heard J. Edgar was poor... so I'd better back off.

i usually hate anything from 'Funny or Die' cause i feel a majority of their shit is NOT funny, and the site's so-called "writers" should indeed DIE...

Sucks that he's never won. All the movies I've seen him in he's delivered a solid performance. He played a mentally retarded kid in 'Gilbert Grape', that's usually an instant Oscar win!
