Is saying that a violent video game is a gateway drug to committing the actual act of murder truly correct?

No.

Okay! Fine, I'll fucking continue. The actual act of murder is found to be one of the terrible crimes one can do. Game cases do show game warnings that are clear for the buyer, and that while it is possible that someone could be affected by violent games, simple knowledge of good and bad and what is real and not real should prevent this.

Maybe these acts would still happen without such violent games such as, Manhunt. These acts are committed by people already unstable to begin with. Not by rational people. So before you partake in stabbing someone in the chest in a game, make sure you're actually sane.

One could also see that it could be a wonderful outlet for anger. But the games themselves clearly are not real. Does a person really get thrown around like ragdoll if shot in a certain way? Nope. Do actual human beings walk like a Marine from Call of Duty? Nope. This is fucking stupid and I find these people completely misinformed of what the human mind can take!

Go fuck yourselves, you're wrong.

PS
I have a friend who has Call of Duty 4 flashbacks. Yes, PTSS from a game. I told him to get lobotomized, just to be safe. I'd thought I'd leave this topic with something entertaining.

i agree too. I have been playing "violent" video games since i was young and i have never even been in a fist fight let alone kill anyone.
