Synopsis: after Tony Stark (Downey Jr.) admits that he is Iron man, the government wants Tony to share his new technology to the military, while all that is unfolding a new arch nemesis is being created in Russia; his name is Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) also none as whiplash, and he is out for revenge on Tony Stark.

wow I really loved the hell out of this movie, it had so many good things going for it, like for example the cast was absolutely awesome, Robert Downey Jr. was fantastic again as Tony Stark, and once again has the best performance in this movie, Gwyneth Paltrow was good as Pepper, Don Cheadle did good as Rhodes, but I prefer Terrance Howard, and not because he’s a better actor, but because he fits the role better, Sam Rockwell and Mickey Rourke were perfect as villains specially Mickey Rourke, but Sam Rockwell I liked a lot, and honestly I thought he had one of the best performances of the movie, very good, funny, smart villain, Scarlett Johansson was hot, very hot, but that’s about it, and Samuel L. Jackson was great as Nick Fury. Overall everybody was casted perfectly, and everybody did fabulous in their roles.

The 1^st act of the movie starts off very strong, but the 2^nd act gets really slow, and I almost started losing faith in the movie, specially how good it started off, but it picks up really quick again in the 3^rd, specially with all those spectacular visual effect scenes.

The action in this movie is one of the best action movies I seen since Avatar. The first fight scene with iron man and whiplash is really good, but the last battle scene between them is so epic, and another thing is the visual effects, the iron man suit in some scenes looks so real and sick, and the one scene that sticks out to me is when Iron Man and War Machine fight all the different types of machines, and Iron Man and War Machine are straight up doing work, it’s awesome.

I love how they set up the avengers, it makes it way more exiting now, especially when you see Captain America’s shield, and Thor’s hammer at the end, it’s going to be the best marvel movie ever, can’t wait.

Now I love Iron Man 2, and its one of my favorite movies of the year, but there are some unfortunate flaws to the movie, I thought at the end Mickey Rourke’s character died to easily, now the battle was epic, it’s just he dies a little too easy. The plot of the movie was okay, but could have been better, and the 2^nd act of the movie also could have been a little more entertaining.

The action in the movie was awesome, and the best action of the year so far, but just like the first Iron Man I wish there was just one or two more action scenes.

Overall Iron Man 2 is not as fresh as the first Iron Man, but the great action scenes and the great acting especially from Robert Downey Jr., Sam Rockwell, and Mickey Rourke make this sequel a home-run.
