Interview - Bellflower
A tumultuous love story set against the background of two hipsters who build flamethrowers and a weaponized muscle car in preparation for the apocalypse. Sound crazy? It's "Bellflower" - and it's fucking insane.
Just how do all of these elements work together? How does one go about even conjuring up such a tale? The cast and director of the film join Spill during Comic Con 2011 in telling how they made their madness work. That is when weren't just sitting around and having a good laugh about eating live crickets and how to shoot graphic sex scenes.
In all seriousness "Bellflower" is one of the most unique visions we've seen for while from a filmmaker who we predict just may be the next David Fincher. We feel fortunate that they were able to take the time to have a conversation with us.
