I was amazed when I walked out, how a film that's so complex with so many layers and ideas was so easy to follow. A testiment to the writing talent and years of work to create a polished article.

I know Nolan would never make a sequel, it would kill the purpose of the entire film, unacceptable idea.

I don't really understand why people find it so confusing. I just saw it a couple of hours ago. I did have to focus but it wasn't that hard to get it to the point where I need to see it a second time to understand it. I don't think anyone explained it too many times. It was convoluted but not overly so that any semi-intelligent would get lost in it depths. I liked it I'll give a high matinee to a regular full price.

the only reason I hope there is a sequel is because they left it open for one, and the film had such an amazing concept, I hope they go back and explore it some more. For instance, would be great if the team went into Cobbs mind to pull him out of limbo, I just wished they explain Joseph Levitt's and Ellen Paige characters more and would reveal what happened to them. But other that Toy Story 3, this is the best film this year so far, i would say its up there with the Dark Knight, but alot of people who didn't like the film was because of there's no diffinative ending,

No Sequel! Why ruin an exceptional film with a 2nd....Matrix taught us this.
Don't tell me your problems Carlyle!
He's angry cause he didn't get what he want. It was Nolan's intention to have people wondering and questioning. I can respect that him not 'loving' the movie, but he didn't have to whined and try to rewrite the whole ending. I hear more complaints come out of him than anyone. More joking Co-Host and less assy Carlyle is always a for a better review.

@Oliver Inception is a religion. Haha.
There will be people who believe it is "R---" and others who thinks it's all just a "D----" and nonsense.

@Gerald I think there's no need of any sequels to this. Yes it wasn't perfect, but the reason many people (including Carlyle) disliked the final shot of the film is that they felt it insulted their intelligence. My sincere opinion is that there doesn't need to be a definite ending to a movie. In fact, if everyone can walk away from a film with different impressions and/or conclusions makes it magic, an art-form in and of itself.

To be fair Semilegend, Carlyle stated he liked the film, but had problems with it. Corey said the same thing. That being said, I loved the film, I understood Carlyle and Corey's problems with it, because there are a few problems with the film, which I hope they will address with a sequel, but its still an amazing film. Inception is one of the best films to date, even with the problems and if you read his review on aint it cool news (he goes by the name Massawyrm on aint it cool), You can follow this link to read it, http://www.aintitcool.com/node/45790

But his problems all have to deal with the ending of the film, which i wont ruin for anyone but it does open up discussions of possible endings, Carlyle discusses 4 possilbe endings, one more is suggested later on in the discussion board to bring it to 5, but the reason why I think there are alot of people dont find this film as a masterpeice is because there is no defined ending to the film.

I'm 13 years old and Inception and Memento are movies that I understood immediately and are my two favorite movies!

I have to agree with every1. I didn't enjoy Dark Knight that much, but I absolutely love this movie.
By listening to your review I was hesistating on whether to go or not.
I'll which my side to Co-Host.
Also, The hell's wrong with Carlyle!! He couldn't stop bitching about this movie on ACOCO.
