With the onslaught of new 3-D movies coming out I have heard this phrase a million times, "In eye popping 3-D". The only problem I have with the phrase is that it makes no sense! My eyes will not pop out of my head from watching Alice in Wonderlands poor use of 3-D or Clash of the Titans. Even with How to Train Your Dragons excellent use of 3-D my eyes still stayed in. So why do some many trailers and posters have to use this phrase?

Just because a 2-D action movie is coming out you don't hear them say, "With action so real you will shit your pants"

Eventhough I would much rather prefer the 2nd phrase.

So what do you all think?

I would have 1000% agreed with you before seeing How to Train Your Dragon in 3D because it was the only movie I have seen in 3-D that used the 3-D element of the movie to enchance it sucessfully. Every other 3-D movie I have seen, including Toy Story 3, have been very gimmicky.

I really, really don't care. The more you feed a troll, the more it grows on you... 3D is such a large gimmick it isn't funny... It's best to avoid it. And face it, all movies that have come out with terrible 3D are shit as movies, so avoid them ANYWAYS.
