Hey guys

Listen, I just gotta vent right now. I saw Ghost Rider 2 today with a few friends, and after chatting with our old pal Carlyle via Twitter about it, I have this to say:

HOW IS THIS FUCKING WORSE THAN THE FIRST DAMN MOVIE?!!?

I'm sorry, but I just don't fucking get the hate. As someone who HATED the first movie for how pathetic the action scenes were and ESPECIALLY how whiney Blackheart was as a villain (among OTHER things *COUGH COUGH* Eva Mendes sucks *COUGH COUGH*), I thought this was MUCH more like the comics than that OTHER movie was, and I find it completely unfair how Carlyle's the one getting all the heat for saying a while back that he loved the movie and for trying to back up his opinon! Well, let me tell YOU haters something, YOU snobby morons who don't seem to wanna see a movie simply for mindless fun anymore, PLOT BE DAMNED IF NEED BE: where's YOUR REASONS for saying GR 2's worse than the first movie? Huh? YOU FUCKING TELL ME HOW IT WAS THAT FRIGGEN' BAD! Yes, Carlyle's allowed to have his opinions, as am I and anyone else in this world (except Armound White, anyway). But I WON'T stand for non-sequitors of this ilk that DONT' HAVE ANY EVIDENCE BACKING THEM UP!

You're all coming out treating this movie as thought it was supposed to be an Iron Man-level serious superhero film. Hate to break it to you people but GHOST RIDER ISN'T THAT KIND OF HERO! If you've even BOTHERED to read the comics, he's a borderline vigilante who doesn't care who he goes after. If you've sinned IN ANY WAY, he's coming for your ass! I felt the movie NAILED that shit down perfectly! That and the awesome action scenes were probably my favorite points of this movie. But no, you're not satisfied unless someone like Christopher Nolan or Joss Whedon is directing it. It doesn't always work like that. My point is, Neveldine and Taylor did their DAMNEDEST to make this good and I felt they succeeded. Yes, the story is flawed as hell, but the action more than made up for it. Don't listen to what Korey and the others said in their review. I personally felt they expected WAY too much from this movie and they ended up disappointed. All I personally wanted was a fun, crazy action film. And that's EXACTLY what I got, people! Bottom line, next time you wanna slam a decent movie like this for not giving you what YOU wanted, THINK for a fucking second if it's really that fucking bad or even worth your time bitching about! CAPICHE?

*sigh* Sometimes, I wonder why I put up with bullshit like this on the internet.....
