I'm Moving to the UK got some questions?
My family and I are moving to Suffolk,England. I have some questions?
1.) If dogs have to be in quarantine how long will it take?
2.) When does high school begin? ( DOD schools)
3.) How’s the weather
4.) What cultural things do I need to be sensitive about or know?
5) is the cost of living high?

I don't think the weather is as bad as people think it is over here though, the English weather can be quite pleasant. I guess you just have to think about the word differences here, like a fawcet is a tap, a chip is a crisp, fries are chips, jelly is jam and jello is jelly, a trunk is a boot and so on......Oh and Bollocks is a swear word.

3 to 6 months for the dog.
Depending on your school and the year your in, from the first to the 15th of september.
Luckily for you, suffolk doesn't have the extreemes of weather that places like wales(loads of rain) and Scotland(Pretty damn cold all the time). It will rain alot this time of year but in september you could be lucky to get a lot of sun until about late october (Often late summers here).
I assume, your american. (This is a general comment) Americans aren't well liked in Britain, its kind of a fashion thing, I don't really get it. You'll get a lot of insults from and "hazing" from british men but the girl will most likely be all over you. Really, I've met a lot of americans guys in uni and they seem to be getting more action than they deserve.
