The tree from Poltergeist... lol. Why not the Tree from Evil Dead (the first one).

Ice Age 3 does not "suck". It is simply enjoyable family fare - nice message, good chuckles, fun adventure. Parents can take younger children, and not feel gross about exposing them to inappropriate content (Land of the Lost), or mindless bombast (Transformers). Don't get me wrong, those movies can serve a purpose, [as countless fiesty message boards can attest!]; but there needs to be alternatives, and Ice Age 3 fits the bill - this weekend.

I barely remember the second one, let alone the first. At least the first had some...somewhat funny moments. Looks like this is another wait for DVD or TV premiere movie.

Dude, there's bound to be some great movies out during Oscar season. Why do you think they're going for 10 nominations, this year?... Be patient. However, I will agree that the majority of the hyped-up films this year have ended up to either be "mixed", "mediocre" or "bad".

I enjoyed the first one but I have not seen the second movie and I do not wanna see the third movie cuz now it's getting pretty friggin' sad.

Ice Age 1 - A good animated film, comparable to shrek 1.
Ice age 2 - Pretty awful, Plus its after the ice age now, wtf?
Ice Age 3 - Pretty awful, Also now its way past the ice age!

Coming Soon:
Ice age 4: Thaw - They unfreeze in a modern day museum, how much further from the ice age can you get?
And am I the only one who's getting tired of the now repetitive jokes about scrat and his acorn? Yeah, yeah funny mostly in the first, now its like their only joke.
