That collecting gold thing reminds me of Bauldar's Gate 2. the only way to beat the last boss if you buy the most expensive sword, not defeating him with you wit or skills.

hey guys, just a technical suggestion. You should try to balance the volume of the in-game audio clips with your own voices because the db levels are too different atm. I find myself tweaking my volume a number of times during your reviews. The content is awesome though, keep it up.

I rented this game at rebox and I had high hopes for Hunted: the demons forge also, but I too had my dreams crushed after playing through the first two levels. The level design and lighting was awful, I just had to put it down, infact i felt really bad because one of my teachers at my school left near finals during the quarter just to go work on this and didn't come back. I think he kinda made a poor choice.

But! this game is not bad if you are playing multi-player, actually, i think it's the only way you would want to play this seeing that your A.I is not that good, and not surprisingly so. I played it split-screen style and that was tough to deal with but it's doable and was even fun depending who you are playing with.

 

So, I played it all the way through and I actually might buy it when its really REALLY cheap, they should of left the level editor feature of the game alone and just really polished it out. It's definitely a hit or miss for certain people, I agree with pretty much everything you said in this review. it's definitely a rental.
