'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Victory Tour Posters

Break out your bows, let loose your arrows, because it's once again time to play 'The Hunger Games.' Francis Lawrence's 'Catching Fire,' based on the second book in the young adult series, brings District 12 champions Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) back for the Quarter Quell; a competition between two dozen winners from years past. However, prior to learning she must again enter a to-the-death contest, Katniss is making the rounds to the surrounding districts as part of a victory tour. The latest poster from the film, centers on this tour. The pageantry and glamor of the games were actually my least favorite part of the first movie, so I'm not overly excited for this new poster, but I am intrigued by the plot of the sequel. Take a look a the poster below and let us know what you think.

'Catching Fire' hits theaters November 22nd

@Agashi Lol, WHAT?! Saying that this poster is a spoiler is like saying that them releasing and marketing the 2nd movie is a spoiler to those who haven't seen the first. Lol. Spoiler Alert:Peeta didn't die.

@ Hicks - I have actually seen the movie already, thanks. That's how I knew about the twist ending. And I still think it's pretty pompous for the studio to alienate a portion of the movie-going public in this way. Just because someone didn't catch the first film, doesn't mean they aren't interested in watching them all.

I'm not saying that marketing should always cater to the lowest common denominator, but they could have chosen material that didn't outright spoil the ending of the first movie, especially since that movie came out less than a year ago.

@Agashi -The Hunger Games came out a year ago now. I'm guessing if you haven't seen it by now, then you aren't really that interested anyway.

What I don't like about this poster is that it really is just a gigantic spoiler. One that really takes the punch out of the first film and the twist at the end. Screw the people who haven't already seen the film I guess. Now there's no question that Peeta survived and both of them were able to win the games.

I want to insert my penis into Jennifer Lawrence's body.

Remember to remind everyone that Katniss is white. Very white. Not Native American at all. No tan anywhere. White, all white, all the time. Master Race, motherfuckers.

The film was decent, if a bit...off...in the action scenes and backgrounds. They skipped a bit too much of the explanations, which will come back to bite them later on. Tucci saved the film for me, him and the kid playing Peeta. The book series is pretty decent for Young Adult fare, but that makes me think they will not take it so seriously (see the first 4 Harry Potter films).

This is very cool. I like how they're playing this off as The Capitol's propaganda campaign.

I hope there's more like this.

@ jak-Those Soviet era posters look like something a Atheist would come up with.

There's something about this that makes me feel like I'm looking at a live-action manga cover.
