wow Korey you made you're point and it was really eloquent and made me rethink my thoughts on this movie. But I'm still a little more with Cyrus. I think its a pity Leon and the Co-Host quit on the movie after the Eva Mendes part because I felt that the movie only got more interesting after that scene

I like movies that are not for everyone.  I understand 100 percent why people love this or would hate this.   It's funny that a lot film goers are upset with the lack of originality in movies because of all the reboots and franchise sequels. But when something completely new comes around.  Most of those same people complain again.  To get a better grasp on this story.  Read how I explain this movie to a seven year old.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD, PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION

It's up to the individual to get (or not get) something out of this movie, but after after a specific scene in the limo about halfway through, I ended up viewing the movie as a fully self-aware version of The Truman Show.
Now, that's just my interpretation of it, it may not be yours, nor the filmmaker's, and I don't mean to be pretentious but that made me enjoy it plenty.

Looks like the movie is trying to be weird for the sake of being weird. It just looks 'bleh' to me.

lol, that was an entertaining review.  Thanks for the warnings... I know to stay far away from this film unless I can test it out via Netflix Streaming.

As I said in a previous comment, those kind of movies are really well known in Europe... And really apreciated. Your comment about Amelie was hillarious to me cause in France it's not considered Hip AT ALL. It was a really good movies but the critics here were that its in contrary TOO MAINSTREAM lol... We really DO have a lot of cultural differencies. Here movies/ Cinema is considered as an Art form. Not an entertainment. It has a good side (Lots of really good and challenging movies) and its bad side (lots of boring, pretentious movies)... Leos Carax is considered here as a GENIUS, like the new Godard, like a poet, a philosopher... The way he's working with his actors, and with the photography/the images... I mean its fantastic! Holy Motors is full of meaning, but meaning doesnt mean having a classic story, linear and all ! Korey you should really try to watch some of Leos Carax previous work ! Its nice that at least one of you got it :)

The title makes this sound like this decade's version of "Used Cars".

I have no intention in seeing this movie but this reviews gets a high-full price from me. Hilarious stuff.
