Hollywood.com Podcast - Celebrity Passings

This is a recording we did during the month of celebrity deaths - Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, David Carradine, Billy Mayes, and yes, Michael Jackson. We have yet to post it on Hollywood.com so, but given Michael Jackson's recent memorial we figured this would be a good time to release it to the world.

You've heard the crew's opinions in different podcast but have yet to hear them all together. So listen to this casual conversation as they share (Spill style, of course) their feelings and memories on the passing of these celebrites.

Personally, I have to be serious. I truly think that through all of the stress and hatred Michael Jackson got from people even though he continued poured his soul out to the people killed him. He.....I dunno, to be metaphorical, he died of a broken heart.

Actually, out of all the recent Celebrity Deaths I think Billy Mays probably struck me the hardest. I was born in the 90's and I wasn't around to see Jackson in his glory days and I can obviously say the same thing about Farrah Fawcett. But if there was one thing I could remember it would be Billy Mays pop on the Television for a good one or two minutes taking ones attention with his captivating work as a Pitchman, even if most of his products did suck ass. Although being able to see Kill Bill before David Carradine died when I learned 'he' was dead I about shit my pants.

It felt like this podcast was 90% MJ and 10% everyone else. But then again, so is the rest of the media.

All right all right, no need for the hostility. I think we're all just a little on edge because we're not getting our Spill fix. And it seems as if the beginnings of withdrawal is occurring. Stay strong everyone, we'll get something soon. And try, if you can, to avoid offering to SUCKA DICK for a podcast/review.

Nevermind Johnny English, he just need the attention (from his blog about the US being a dictatorship to his sprinkling of hate in various blogs and forums) and his pretending oblivious of what is "Star Trek" and comics to attract a crowd. Strange he doesn't mind people paying dues to Mayes, Fawcett, Carradine and McMahon but a bigger media star like MJ he hates....what is wrong with that picture, not very black and WHITE, is it Johnny? He is not suffering from stupidity just the same old ignorance...

Thanks Leon. I don't remember hearing about juror "johnny English" at any of his trials.

I'm not the biggest MJ fan but I can inderstand why there is such a huge turn out for him and why his death is being covered so extensivly. I'm old enough to remember the death of Elvis and John Lennon. Would your reaction to the deaths of those two cultural icons be the same? Would you dismiss Elvis as a middle aged, fat drug addict and John Lennon as a socialist, hippe? Remember when Princess Diana died? I guess you were shaking with rage over the coverage of her death as well. If you don't like the coverage then just go do something else. I know, go to your corner and pound your wee little fists against the wall.

Johnny English, I think you're a pedophile and a misanthrope. And I bet if I got hold on your hard drive I could find enough evidence that I could skew to prove my point. Prove me wrong. You can't! In fact, the more you try the guiltier you'll seem. Moo-hahahahaha!

...Ah, screw putting that much effort into that. I'll just print "Johnny English is a pedophile and a misanthrope!" over and over until everyone just accepts it as fact.
