Comment by Driznar on March 23, 2013 at 5:34pm I love how people complain about the gameplay when they themselves probably didn't do this well their first few hours of playing.

Comment by stiver on March 21, 2013 at 4:03pm Jeff, sir, You gotta macro. A 1 hatch/pool cannot support zergling production. You need at least a second hatchery to properly manage your money, and increase production. Plus more Queens. Queens make spores redundant, they have an incredibly powerful heal (downright broken) and make creep tumors. Gotta keep up creep spread with those tumors. Zerg units move faster on creep, and tumors give you vision so you can see where the enemy is attacking.
Food for thought.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
@PaleHorseWC2
True, but the main disadvantage of the flamethrower (apart from the possibility of setting yourself aflame if you're not careful) is its bulk and weight. You could probably carry an AA-12 and several extra magazines with several shell types - incendiary, slugs, buckshot, etc. - and get the same CQC capabilities with even more versatility. Flamethrowers are just impractical.
Comment by PaleHorseWC2 on March 20, 2013 at 8:13am Flamethrowers are a great area-denial weapon, mostly used to burn cover and concealment, grass, treeline, overgrowth. Also excellent for clearing caves, tunnels, and really anything. And they don't explode when shot, they just leak.
Comment by MDS on March 20, 2013 at 1:30am Star Wars RTS factions?
Empire, Rebels, Hutts, Druids (if you want, Smuggles, Bounty Hunters.... Could easily mix about 4-5 factions a game.
But Prof Jeff is right, if you are going to do a SW RTS, then just let us do a starcraft type clone where we can pop out about 3-4 hundred troopers
