GI JOE footage!!!

Ok, ok I know. Let me start by apologizing for misleading you all to believing that this blog post has any kind of new content of the upcoming summer movie. For that i am truly sorry, but what i have here might possibly be way better than that!

The Spill members who grew up during the 80's might remember the PSA/Safety Messages used at the end of every episode of the animated series G.I. Joe, where a different character of the Joe's would spew some rhetoric message of hazard safety. It was all pretty innocent and dumb until Eric Fensler and his Chicago based company Fensler Films decided to re-edit them with new dialogue and in some cases new animation. They poked fun at the absurdity of some of the scenarios, the cheap animation value and some of them were just damn weird gonzo fun! These re-editions appeared on their website and became an instant cult sensation. They became so notorious that Hasbro caught on to what Fensler and co.. did and ordered a cease and desist on Fensler Films resulting in the removal of the videos from their site.

Since then the videos have survived and thrived wandering all over the world wide web in different sites. I came across them a few years back and i instantly became a fan of them. Every time i see them i laugh my ass off until i fall on the floor crying. So in honor of the new Joe movie coming out I hope you enjoy some of my favorite Fensler G.I. Joe PSA clips!!!!
