you guys should have a spill community event or something for this game where spill fans can come and play with you all. i would like to play some horde or beast mode with the loading bar crew, or maybe pit my gaming skills against you guys =]

Actually he didn't make it up.Drake was supposed to voice Jace but because of scheduling problems he couldn't do it.Korey just had some wrong info.

The reason why I wouldn't expect anything from the story...is because I remember the 1st Gears of War got near perfect reviews all around...and I thought it was....fun. lol. Thats about it. It was fun for a little while...the campaign was fun but once I go to the end...I didn't even know what the end was. I just remember running on top of a train, shooting things, and THE END. It was SUCH  a lame story and I never cared about any of the characters the entire time...but since it was an action game I didn't mind.

Honestly though...even online wasn't that great, it was brutal and cool looking at 1st, but got boring very quickly. So that was one game where I shouldn't have trusted the reviews at all...it had a shitty story (besides the premise which we've seen done), the online play wasnt as good as it was hyped up to be, and you can only play through the campaign so many times online until you stop giving a shit.

Gamespot gave the 1st game a 9.8 i think....I would have given it a solid 8.

THIS though...looks redeeming indeed. (even though I keep hearing the story is still pretty half-ass...better but still pretty dumb). I can forgive it as long as its a lot of fun and it sure does look like it.
