Oh, and in this game, the stamina depletes a LIIIITTLLLEEE faster, so there can’t be any OVER OVER usage of powers. But you can still be cheap.

Some Basic Combat Techniques:
1.) Parrying: When an enemy is about to attack you, you can press the block button fast to parry and do some damage. 5 Parries can be used in each battle.
2.) Push jumps/grabs: If you jump onto an enemy and press the grab button right as you’re coming down on top or close to him/her, you will plant your feet on their stomach and grab their shoulders. If you do nothing for 3 seconds, you will automatically jump off. You can do a 3 hit combo with X, kick off of them with Y, or hop off with A.
3.) Air combos: If you end a combo or grab with an enemy in the air, you can jump up and continue the combo in the air.

Levels:
Daily Bugle: Basically the same as the first one.
Beach: A big beach. Can knock down guard towers and stuff.
Baxter Building: Basically it’s a big room with lots of computers and lab equipment. There’s a window at the front, can be thrown out of it. Can also be thrown into the elevator down to the entrance.
X-men academy: Like the X-men fighting game version. Fight out on the courtyard, but can go to other places.
City Street: A lot like the first game’s street, but longer and with some people.
Hell: Also like the ultimate alliance version of Hell where you unlock Ghost Rider. You can fall into a pit of fire. Yes, that kills you.
Galactus’s Palace: A big open room with a carpet leading to a throne.
Subway station: Can be thrown into oncoming trains, without cinematic. Can be smashed up the stairs into the upper part of the station… see GTA4 Subway for example. Hulk, Juggernaut, and Abomination can get hit by the train, but IT stops, slamming into them and crashing. They may be thrown back a few feet. Damage can be caused to the train, and you can go fight in the train tracks (Not in the station, in the tunnel.) to a certain degree.
Gamma field: basically a big open, empty field (the Blood Gulch of MN).
Stark Towers: The big place in Ultimate Alliance, can be kicked through the big fountain into Stark’s main room, can be thrown out the big window in the front.
Rebellion Hideout: Basically a pimped out storage center on the outskirts of the metropolis.
Southeastern High: from Hulk, Fight in a big courtyard, but can smash into the buildings around it.

Control scheme for 360:

A: Jump
B: Grab/ Throw
X: Attack one (Light)
Y: Attack two (Heavy)
RB: Attack 3 (Ultra PWNAGE!! Really slow, though, can’t be used in combos)
LB: Block/Dodge
RT: Power button
LT: Mobility move/press lightly to initiate sprint mode

Finisher: same as first game or climbs up the wall with you, drops you and jumps on you.

X: Chain whack

B: Demon hand comes out of the ground, grabs you, shakes you, chucks you away. OW.
RB: Hell shotgun blast.
Finisher: Penance stare or runs you over with his hell bike (think happy!)
Mobility: Hell Bike

Carnage: (medium range)
Carnage is special. He actually has 3 weapons: Fists, Claws and blades. Pressing the corresponding attack button while holding the power button puts those weapons as a main non-power button weapon. Press the same button for the weapon again to put it back to fists. (Claws: Large sharp fingers. Blades: Kratos-esque weapons of death)
X: Symbiote Claws
Y: Symbiote Blades
B: Hands stretch out, grabs you and throws you behind him
RB: Tentacles come out of his chest and whip/ cut you
Mobility: Swings around with symbiote
Finisher: Cuts you up like the serial killer he is or consumes you like venom in ultimate spider man.

Green Goblin: (Long Range)
X: Razor bats
Y: Pumpkin Bomb
B: Grabs you by the neck and lifts you up, smashes you down.
RB: Uses his glider kind of like a 3 second homing missile
Mobility: Glider
Finisher: Impales you on the glider or explodes you with like 50 pumpkin bombs.

Blackheart: (medium range)
X: Tail whip
Y: Black magic blast
B: Lifts you by staring at you, and throws you into the air (perfect for air comboing)
RB: 5 Claw slashes
Mobility: none
Finisher: A portal opens below you and you fall into hell or He lifts you in the air with his tail and starts punching, slashing and kicking you until you die. 

Wolverine: (Close Range)
(Holding power button makes claws pop out)
X: Claw attack button #1
Y: Claw attack button #2
B: Tackle
RB: Stabs claws into ground and rips them out, sending a large chunk of rock flying at you
Mobility: None
Finisher: Claw impale or head butts you, you fall and he jumps on you and starts clawing you.

Iron Man: (Long Range)
X: Hand blast
Y: Chest missiles
B: Grabs you with both hands like a wrestler and pile drives you
RB: Chest Blast
Mobility: FLY!!
Finisher: Same as the first, or the little bullet things come outta his shoulders and pwn you.

Joker (Well Balance; all around range.)
X: Knife
Y: Razor sharp playing cards (thrown)
B: Jumps on your shoulders and kicks back so you go flying
RB: Machine gun burst
Mobility: None
Finisher: Shocking joy buzzer or Boxing Glove.

Hulk: (Best at close range)
X: Super punches
Y: Picks up a piece of ground and throws it at you
B: Picks you up and throws you a million miles
RB: Ground slam
Mobility: None
Finisher: Either he snaps your back by slamming you on his knees or he super-claps you into a wall at like 300 MPH.

Abomination: (VERY similar to Hulk, best at close range)
X: Super punches
Y: Ground Throw (Think of the scene in the new hulk movie where he stomps on the front of the cab and it flies into his hands, except with a piece of ground and he throws it at you.)
B: Pick you up and pile-drives you
RB: Ground slam (does a small jump and slams both feet into the ground)
Mobility: None
Finisher: Just beats you to death.

Thor: (Medium Range; Well balanced)
X: Hammer strike
Y: Throws his hammer like a boomerang
B: Hits you in the legs with his hammer and you fall, he picks you up and throws you into the air by the legs
RB: Massive lightening strike (leaves a crater)
Mobility: Fly
Finisher: Lightening storm or clobbers you over the head with his hammer

Iceman: (Long range)
X: Sharp icicle (Thrown)
Y: Freezing blast (Freezes for 5 seconds)
B: Jumps on you and blasts you from point blank
RB: Prototype-ish move where ice spike come out of the ground
Mobility: Ice riding… thing.
Finisher: Grabs you in a bear hug and spikes come out of him, impaling you everywhere.

Toxin: (Medium Range)
(Holding power button turns toxin into SuperBuff Toxin)
X: Black claw swipe
Y: Black goo shot
RB: Tackles and swipes 3 times
Mobility: Swing
Finisher: Arrests you, or grabs head with both claws puts you on your knees and screeches and crushes your head/snaps your neck

Cyclops: (Long Range)
X: Normal blast
Y: Spread shot
B: Trips you, then he blasts you
RB: Radiation blast (Takes away health for 5 seconds)
Mobility: None (Can shoot rays at the ground while in the air to propel himself up repeatedly, though)
Finisher: HUGE BLAST (Takes off his eye thing)

Deadpool: (Well Rounded)
(Holding power button takes out swords)
X: Sword attacks
Y: Dual-wield Pistol shots
B: Grabs you and slams your head on his knee
RB: Throws C4 at you
Mobility: teleport/bodyslide
Finisher: Slices you up a bunch, or says stupid and annoying things till you die.

Spawn: (Medium Range. Chains and cape integrated into combos like punch, punch, kick, CHAIN!)
X: Axe!!
Y: Necroplasm Blast (Green stuff)
B: Picks you up by the neck, Slams you down, then throws you into the air.
RB: Shoots a gun (Burst)
Mobility: Levitation
Finisher: Continually hits you with necroplasm, or beats you to death, raises you back to life, and kills you again

Story:
Well, One day Galactus attacks earth. This is the tutorial mission for story mode. Galactus is having his soldiers (aliens enslaved from spared planets) attack earth. This mission would have you as Wolverine or C. America or someone like that fighting your way through New York and defeating Galactus's minions. After this is completed the Silver Surfer arrives. He helps them defeat Galactus. Galactus retreats into space but gets his revenge. To add to the destruction he flings giant balls of energy down earth, tearing it apart. He also traps the silver Surfer on Earth for betraying him. Ten years later......Ten years later Earth is in chaos. Government was never restored and all the people are living in terror. There are no such things as heroes and villains anymore because they are all united to keep the place from falling apart. Now to Galactus, he is has been planning revenge on Earth. He attacks the skrull and forces them to work for him or their planet is destroyed. He has them shapeshift into a humanoid aliens that look very pale, thin, and with blond hair. Galactus himself transforms into that look, and shrinks down to the size of 8 ft. They then go to Earth in several space ships. The heroes and villains and Galactus and his minions meet. Galactus tells them that they are trying to aid all planets in need and want to help them. The heroes and villains are divided. Some want the help, others don't trust them, and some are neutral. Overall the people who trust them win. The Earth is transformed into a bustling metropolis city. But what they don't realize is Galactus is actually aiming to do this so he can divide the heroes and have them all eventually killed. The heroes/villains are divided into 3 factions: the Imperial army, the Rebels, and the Mercenary Guild. When the time comes, they all need to join to save the Earth (They find out Galactus is actually… you know, Galactus when they capture Doctor Doom and smack him up a lot and his tongue slips and he says something about Galactus). You basically just fight your way through the story. (The first mission in Story is always when Galactus is attacking Earth)

Modes:
Story: You just pick your character and go through the story with them. You can have five possible save slots for characters. Each character has 3-4 story mode levels.

Versus: You can play Player vs. CPU, Player vs. Player, Player and Player versus Player and Player, or Player and Player vs. CPU and CPU, or Player vs. Player vs. Player vs. Player (any one of those 4 can be changed to CPU so you can have a free for all while playing by yourself) (the character selection screen is like this: One character is picked at a time (meaning player one picks his character then player 2 picks his character, and so on) The character selection: the screen is divided in half by a line (Vertical) On the left side there’s the characters and on the right side is a picture of the character your cursor is on. Press the RT to change costumes) There are also other versus modes such as: Destruction: destroy as many things as possible on the map. Super Team: Three heroes (CPU OR players) team up to fight either a player or a hardcore CPU Villain. Or the other way around. Apocalypse: Play a match where comets and bombs are raining down on you, and with the option of evil minions also attacking you. Survival: Classic survival, you go through as many matches as possible without dying.
Invasion: Up to 4 Players fight off waves of enemies with increasing difficulty. At the end of every 5 Waves comes a Super Villain.

Online: You can play any one of the versus modes online.

Theatre: You can view your past ten versus matches (Not including story) and take pictures (Can store 30 pictures) Can save 15 videos.
