French Poster For 'Les Miserables'
I really want to be excited for Tom Hooper's 'Les Miserables.' I do like the story at the heart of the musical and there are songs from it that, for all my cynicism, bore into my heart. However, I've been bombarded with featurettes, particularly those that play before the movies at Regal Cinemas, in which the filmmakers shamelessly pat themselves on the back for recording the music live instead of adding it in post-production. Yes, it's commendable. Now stop telling us how much you should be commended for doing it. That said, this French version of the film's poster is gorgeous, and let's face it, I would pay to see Anne Hathawaypaint Easter eggs for three hours. Take a look at the French poster below and let us know what you think.

I have a Jean Valjean "24601" tattoo....needless to say I can't wait for this movie to come out. Not to mention Tom Hooper is a great director. I still have my reservations for the cast mostly Helena Bonham Carter, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway. But even if they are as mediocre as I imagine, Hugh Jackman is just going to steal the show and put in a brilliant performance.

The only trailers I have seen is the one they play in Regal theaters. All I know about this movie for sure is; It's a movie, It has people I like in it, they sing, singing is usually prerecorded but the makers of this move was like "hell no, we doing that shit on the set!", and it's called Les Mierables.
All you get from that trailer, it's not good marketing because it makes me dislike the movie before I know anything about it. Oh yes, good for you, here have a cookie you musical twat!
Although I think it has something, maybe, with the French Revolution.... I think this only because of that little bit on the poster on the bottom...
