Megan Fox and Albert Brooks are both in active negotiations to appear in Judd Apatow's untitled spin-off of 2007's "Knocked Up". Rather than continuing the story behind the ragtag bunch of stoned skin-website designers who Seth Rogan worked with in the original (arguably the best part of that film), the Universal Pictures spin-off film will instead focus on Pete and Debbie - the argumentative couple played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in the film.
Apatow recently remarked on HitFix:
While Fox's role is still being kept under wraps ($20 says that she's a toe-thumbed temptress), veteran actor and comedian Albert Brooks would play the father of Paul Rudd's character. His wry, sarcastic comedic timing would fit in perfectly with Apatow's writing and would give the film a much-needed shot in the arm. The film is expected out in June, 2012.

Comment by CriticizeThis on March 21, 2011 at 5:51pm I'm gonna go crazy and defend Megan Fox here. People seem to be hating on her just because a) she's became way too famous overnight just for her looks, when she can't really act; and b) they get impression that she is somehow a stuck-up bitch.
But that's just it, it's an impression based on nothing. If you forget all the hype, pretend you've never heard of her and hold off from pre-judging her on the way she looks, she seems - to me anyway - to come off in interviews as a perfectly nice, down to Earth, dare I say even somewhat intelligent person.

Comment by Happy Birthday Roboto on March 18, 2011 at 2:03pm Also I don't think Megan Fox or anyone will every ruin a genuinely good film! I can't see a guy like Chris Nolan casting Fox in one of his films.
In the Star Wars prequels George Lucas cast Samuel Jackson and Ewan McGreggor but I think it was a case of giving them bad material.
Even in Clash of the Titans where Sam Worthington was badly miscast or Alexander where Collin Farrell was miscast I think it's a case of the film would never have worked whether or not they had been cast.

Actually I think Megan Fox was perfectly cast as the vain shallow movie starlet in How to Loose Friends and Alienate People and in Jennifer's Body she was perfect as the sucubus. Admitedly Simon Pegg carried the former and he's talented and in the latter her talent wasn't key, but I don't think it's an issue of her not being able to act I think she has limited range and she needs to find projects that suit her and once every so often she does! I haven't seen Jonah Hex but I'll agree she had no business in Transformers!
Oh and I live in Europe, we do things differently here! ;P

Nothing is wrong with it. But it doesn't justify her being able to get work and basically be awful in movies. So far she's only made bad or mediocre movies worse, thankfully. But if she stayed popular, she'd eventually ruin good ones. She is totally capable of being a successful model (or, as Cthulhu R'lyeh suggested, in porn), so I'd have no complaints if she did that.
And if you mean you are jizzing to Megan Fox when you go out to her movies, then there is something wrong with that: That's illegal, Paul Ruebens.
Comment by Cthulhu R'lyeh on March 18, 2011 at 1:19pm Agreed, C.H. Gorog. At least he gave us Paul Rudd.
