When I was in college, and completely absorbed in my forensic psychology classes, I watched a documentary on TV about a guy named Richard Kuklinski. Kuklinski, or The Iceman as he was dubbed, was one of the most violent and prolific killers in mafia history.  The doc was partially a recap of his life and crimes and partially a personal interview with him from his prison cell. I remember writing a paper on the guy, who was essentially a serial killer working for organized crime; fascinating story. Now, Millennium Entertainment has released the first trailer for their filmic adaptation of Kuklinski's deeds. 'The Iceman' stars Michael Shannon as Kuklinski, and boasts a supporting cast that includes Ray Liotta, Winona Ryder, Chris Evans, and James Franco. I could not be more excited to see Shannon's portrayal of Kuklinski, and the film itself looks as dark and terrifying as the man's story. If you have a chance, I also highly recommend the documentary 'The Iceman Tapes: Conversations with a Killer.' Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

'The Iceman' hits theaters May 3rd

This is why I'm going to have a hard time taking this movie seriously:

Looks good though.

I'm hoping the movie doesn't try to gain sympathy for such a despicable serial killer like the trailer seems to be doing. The guy was a monster to his family too.

Wait, so this isn't a movie about Chuck Liddell?

The article should be called "New Trailer for 'The Iceman'", there was a trailer for this out last August.
